Gurbangul Atayeva was relieved of her post as Minister of Education of Turkmenistan due to her transfer to another job. She will be replaced in this post by Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva, who previously worked as the rector of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly. The President of Turkmenistan signed the corresponding decrees at an expanded meeting of the Government, as reported in the evening news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. The new head of the Ministry, Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva, received a legal education. She worked as a teacher at TSU, Deputy Minister of Education for higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, and since 2017 headed the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly.
